so i've been sick (what a shocker) and too busy to come on DA much at all
but every single time i do get on DA and look at the first page i see STOLEN artwork on the front page.
honestly... i don't think i can take much more of this site if that continues...
once in a while maybe... but every single time i try and look at the front page? excessive...
but you know what... that's what happens when you allow people who trace to post art...
since they are stealing and DA says it's okay... therefor other thieves must think it's okay to post things they just happened to come across on google. Besides it's unfair to say one from of theft is okay while others aren't.
I'm not blaming DA for this... it's a large site and i can't expect them to get through all the reports instantly.
and with the whole tracing thing... i mean... considering you have those people who say photography is stealing... and you let photographers post their 'art' so therefor tracers are a ok
although i found the whole "god created everything therefor photographers are art thieving from teh god" argument a little lacking...
considering if you go by that all theft in every form, style and shape is theft.
I will state right here that i am not religious at all... and i have nothing wrong with religion until it gets into the hands of fanatical morons who ruin the world for the rest of us.
anyways back to my point.
if you're so called god created everything that means he created the scenery for you to photograph or take inspiration from...
the mediums for which you paint, draw, sculpt or write...
and the very ideas that are inside your head.
that means if you are an artist and you say photography isn't art if only for the fact that they are stealing from god and taking credit... screw you. Because by your own damn definition you are as much of thief as them.
also anyone who says photography isn't art obviously hasn't gone out and taken pictures... seriously the effort that goes into the perfect shot is insane and you should respect every damn frame. But rai you don't post any photography shots... yes because i mostly use them for personal reference or they aren't good enough to post also this is an anime account and i don't plan on mixing the two.
gah... i am starting to feel better... getting all that off my chest, today was just one of those days were i figured it was better to let it all out rather then hold it all in.
This all started when i was at work and these two incompetent girls were 'helping' me with my job... that i don't need help with...
their helped ended with me getting covered in bbq sauce, spending 30 mins to an hour cleaning product that was covered as well, then watching them every two minutes to make sure they didn't make my shot job even longer... but they still managed... it came to the point where i actually sent them away and have now permanently barred them from doing/help with that job when i'm in... hell after today i wouldn't be surprised if they both get fired as i wasn't the only who had enough of them...
normally i'm a nice person... i hate conflict that can be avoided... and i'll accept any help i can get......... until my time is being wasted and i'm dealing with stuff only a preschool teacher or babysitter should deal with...
here i thought most people did jobs to the best of their ability... thank you humanity for proving me wrong once again... make sure next time i ever think of giving you any credit for anything remotely good you knock me down another peg...
